Living his life in the trees, actually forced the Baron to create bonds with a variety of townspeople that he wouldn't have had interactions with had he lived in the house of the Baron. Perhaps this made him a better Baron.
Strong female characters
Viola's a bitch, but Sal likes her anyways
Pirates, sex in the trees, a well read thief, what more do ya need!
